Qualifications

• 7+ years in business analytics or BI development or related role.
• Proficient in Tableau, Power BI, Looker or similar BI tools.
• Strong SQL and data warehousing/ETL experience.
• Experience in data modelling and dimensional analysis.

About the role

Jones Lang LaSalle Property Consultants is seeking a Senior Business Analytics and Business Intelligence Developer to join our growing team in Taguig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position where you will take on a strategic role in developing and implementing advanced analytics solutions and business intelligence systems that drive data-informed decision-making across our organisation.

As Senior Business Analytics and Business Intelligence Developer, you will be instrumental in transforming complex data into actionable insights. This role carries significant responsibility for designing, building and maintaining our analytics infrastructure, whilst ensuring that stakeholders across the company can access the intelligence they need to succeed. You will work closely with business leaders and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that have a measurable impact on our business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy business intelligence and analytics solutions using industry-leading tools and technologies
• Analyse complex datasets to identify patterns, trends and opportunities that support strategic business decisions
• Build and maintain data models, warehouses and pipelines to ensure data quality, accessibility and reliability across the organisation
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business challenges and translate these into technical specifications and analytical frameworks
• Create compelling dashboards, reports and visualisations that communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance on best practices in analytics and business intelligence development
• Establish and maintain data governance policies and standards to ensure consistency and compliance across all analytics initiatives
• Optimise existing analytics systems and processes to improve performance, scalability and user experience
• Stay current with emerging technologies and methodologies in business analytics and business intelligence, recommending adoption where appropriate
• Manage end-to-end analytics projects from conception through implementation and ongoing support

What we’re looking for

• 7+ years of professional experience in business analytics, business intelligence development or a related role
• Advanced proficiency in business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker or similar platforms
• Strong expertise in SQL and database management, with the ability to write complex queries and optimise performance
• Demonstrated experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
• Solid understanding of data modelling and dimensional analysis techniques
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, R or similar, used for data manipulation and analysis
• Proven track record of delivering analytics solutions that have directly contributed to business value and informed strategic decisions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail, with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity
• Experience mentoring and developing junior team members
• Knowledge of cloud-based analytics platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is highly desirable
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
