Job summary

The City Government of Muntinlupa - Government is seeking a Reports Analyst to transform raw data into insights that support decision making. You will collect data from multiple sources, analyze trends, and present findings via clear reports and dashboards.

Responsibilities include data quality audits, creating BI visuals, and presenting to managers. Candidates should have a BS/AB in a relevant field and 2+ years in reporting or data management; Power BI knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS/AB degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics or related fields.
• At least 2 years of reporting, relational databases, data management experience.
• Knowledge of Power BI is advantageous.
• 1 year or more in BPO or related industry is advantageous.

The Reports Analyst plays a critical role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that support organisational decision-making. The position involves gathering data from multiple sources, analysing and interpreting trends, and presenting findings in a clear and meaningful way.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collects raw data from multiple sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and other software systems.
• Uses statistical techniques and analytical skills to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in complex datasets.
• Creates and maintains standard and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and other data visualizations using business intelligence (BI) tools.
• Presents reports and analysis to managers and other key stakeholders in a clear, concise, and actionable format.
• Conducts regular audits and monitors data quality to maintain consistency and accuracy across reporting platforms.
• Assists in formulating recommendations for strategic and operational improvements based on their analysis of business performance.
• Works closely with different departments, such as marketing, finance, and operations, to understand their reporting requirements.
• Conducts research and gathers pertinent data from relevant and reliable sources.
• Reports security incidents and/or any identified security weaknesses.
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of BS/AB degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, and other related courses.
• At least 2 years of reporting, relational databases, concepts and data management experience & in relevant or related role/capacity.
• Knowledge of using Power BI is an advantage.
• 1 year or more of relevant and related experience in BPO industry is an advantage.
