Overview
A Site Manager oversees daily operations at a construction or project site, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards. They manage teams, coordinate resources, maintain safety, and communicate with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Project Management: Planning, scheduling, and managing all on-site activities.
- Supervising and coordinating the work of contractors, subcontractors, and other site personnel.
- Resource Management: Overseeing the allocation and utilization of resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
- Communication: Maintaining clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Quality Control: Conducting regular site inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and specifications.
- Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving any issues or delays that may arise during the project.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of project progress, costs, and other relevant information.
