Job summary

AboitizPower is hiring a General Accounting Specialist to ensure timely and accurate financial recording for our pre-build and development projects. You will partner with the Finance Shared Services team, project leads, and regulators to deliver reliable financial reporting and governance.

The role emphasizes strong data analysis, accuracy under tight deadlines, and collaboration across units. CPA is required; experience with SAP/Oracle is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy is required.
• CPA license is required.
• At least 1 year of accounting experience (General Accounting/Financial Reporting/Accounts Payable/Audit).
• Fresh CPA board passers are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger & Financial Accounting: record, reconcile and analyze GL accounts per PFRS and ERP rules.
• Month-End & Financial Reporting: perform month-end close, prepare reports and statements.
• Accounts Payable & Tax Compliance: process vendor and intercompany transactions, ensure tax compliance.
• Audit Support & Cash Management: assist audits, prepare reconciliations and cash projections.
• Stakeholder Coordination & Process Governance: coordinate with procurement, project teams and regulators.
