Job summary

GHD in the Philippines is seeking a Renewable Energy Engineer to join our Energy and Resources team in a hybrid setup. You will help design and deliver utility-scale and commercial solar projects, with potential exposure to BESS and wind, collaborating across disciplines to drive sustainable solutions.

You must be a registered Electrical Engineer with at least 3 years in Solar PV, strong communication skills, and a passion for renewable energy.

Qualifications

• Registered Electrical Engineer.
• At least 3 years' experience in Solar PV.
• Exposure to BESS, substations, or power infrastructure projects is advantageous.
• Experience in design and delivery of renewable energy projects.
• Knowledge of power systems, electrical design, and relevant industry standards.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support design and delivery of renewable energy projects (Solar PV, BESS, power infra).
• Perform electrical design calculations, technical assessments, and engineering studies.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Undertake site visits and field assignments as required to support project delivery.

As the demand for renewable energy continues to grow, we're looking for a Renewable Energy Engineer to join our Energy and Resources team.

In this role, you'll contribute to the design and delivery of utility-scale and commercial solar projects, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative and sustainable energy solutions. While the role is primarily focused on solar energy, there may be opportunities to support other renewable technologies, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and wind projects.
