Job summary

Boomering is seeking an experienced Website Developer & Digital Optimisation Specialist to support a 12-month project for Australian brands. You will build, maintain, and optimise approximately 50 websites across 35 trading brands in Australia and New Zealand, ensuring performance, security, and a seamless user experience during a major migration and digital transformation.

This is a remote position with a 12-month contract, requiring Monday–Friday mornings (AU shift).

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of professional website development experience.
• Experience managing multiple websites.
• Proven experience leading website optimisation initiatives.
• Understanding of UX/UI principles, customer journey mapping, and CRO.
• Ability to balance technical requirements with marketing, branding, and customer experience objectives.
• Strong ownership and stakeholder communication.
• Advanced WordPress/CMS expertise.
• SEO, GEO, Analytics, Performance optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Build and update responsive websites, landing pages, and web forms with reliable performance and security.
• Manage CMS themes, plugins, integrations, updates, backups, and routine maintenance.
• Monitor website uptime and resolve issues across ~50 websites.
