Pandoblox seeks a Web Development Manager to lead a distributed team of developers across WordPress, headless WordPress, and Webflow. This remote, part-time leadership role focuses on setting standards, coaching, and delivering high-quality client web projects.

Qualifications

6+ years in web development with 2+ years leading a team.
Strong hands-on experience across modern web stacks including WordPress.
Experience with Webflow, Nuxt/Vue, Storyblok and modern CMS/JAMstack patterns.
Proven people-management abilities including running 1:1s and coaching for performance.
Solid grasp of delivery operations, including capacity planning, estimation, QA.
Excellent verbal and written communication with clients and presenting work.
Familiar with time-tracking tools such as Teamwork, Harvest, and Desktime.
Self-directed with ability to add value in a focused part-time schedule.
Fully functional computer and willingness to install endpoint protection.
Resident of the Philippines and able to work from there.
Willing to work in US Pacific timezone or client hours.
Willing to undergo a 90-days probation period.
Open to a part-time contract with potential to grow hours.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a distributed team of web developers across WordPress, headless WordPress, and Webflow.
Own the team's technical standards, coding conventions, peer-review practices, and tooling decisions.
Run regular 1:1s, set role expectations, and support growth and performance.
Lead upskilling across the team, focusing on Webflow and modern CMS/JAMstack practices.
Review current development processes and drive improvements.
Oversee workload planning and ensure appropriate utilization.
Support delivery operations, including time-tracking, leave, and QA.
Help scope and size incoming work and guide effort estimation.
Provide technical input into statements of work and change orders.
Act as escalation point for technical decisions across the team.
Represent the team in client meetings with clarity and professionalism.
Collaborate with engagement management, project management, and HR.
Build redundancy and coverage across projects.
Contribute to ongoing development of the team and web development practice.
Perform other adhoc tasks related to the role.
