Job summary

Veta Virtual is seeking a WordPress Support Developer to own the full lifecycle of client websites, from concept to launch, across a portfolio of live sites. You’ll lead design direction, implement tracking, and optimize performance while collaborating with non-technical stakeholders.

You’ll work remotely with LATAM and Europe-based teammates, 3–5+ years WP experience, strong UI/UX sensibility, and solid HTML/CSS/JS skills.

Qualifications

3–5+ years hands-on WordPress experience including full site builds from concept to launch.
Strong UI/UX sensibility with ability to create mockups and wireframes (Figma/Canva).
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Responsibilities

Build complete WordPress websites from concept to launch using internal templates and tools.
Create design mockups and lead visual direction for new site builds.
Join client onboarding calls to understand brand and goals before building.
Set up conversion tracking (GTM, Meta Pixel, GA4) for new and existing sites.
Monitor conversion rates and perform UI/UX improvements to boost leads.
Handle support tickets including bug fixes, layout issues, and content updates.
Maintain and update existing WordPress sites (pages, posts, landing pages).
Troubleshoot theme, plugin, and performance issues; support integrations (GoHighLevel and similar).
Perform basic hosting checks (uptime, conflicts, backups).
Document fixes and processes for internal knowledge base; communicate timelines clearly; take on additional duties.
