Poging Tech is offering a Trainee Web Developer program in the Philippines (Pasay). This OJT role targets college students eager to gain hands-on experience across web technologies. You will work under senior developers, with flexible hours and a path toward potential full-time opportunities.

Responsibilities include assisting in design, development, testing, and debugging of web applications, plus learning back-end skills and API integrations. A PHP monthly allowance is provided.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or related field.
• Passionate about web development demonstrated through coursework or projects.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript; WordPress familiarity preferred.
• Familiarity with Python, Java, PHP, or Ruby is advantageous.
• Strong problem solving and collaborative skills; eager to learn.
• Excellent communication and a proactive, self‑motivated approach.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the web development team to learn industry practices and methodologies.
• Assist in designing, developing, testing, and debugging web applications under senior guidance.
• Contribute to front-end tasks: content updates, UI/UX implementations, and performance tweaks.
• Learn back-end concepts: databases, server-side scripting, and API integrations.
• Troubleshoot basic issues to ensure smooth website performance.
• Participate in code reviews to grow coding skills and receive feedback.
