Job summary

TalentPop, supporting Mediagistic, seeks a Web Designer to build and optimize client websites for a fast-paced production environment. You will work with a Web Team of 4–6 to translate client needs into effective web solutions, using Divi, WordPress, and standard design tools.

The role is part-time (20 hours/week) with US Eastern Time compatibility. Applicants should have 2+ years of professional web design experience, a strong portfolio, and proficiency in WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional web design experience.
• Hands-on experience building/editing websites with a website builder.
• Familiarity with WordPress CMS.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating web design work.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet project deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and update responsive websites using a website builder (Divi) per designs.
• Collaborate with Project Manager, Team Lead, and Marketing Team.
• Ensure sites are optimized for performance, accessibility, and UX.
• Test websites for usability across devices and browsers.
• Implement SEO best practices within web design.
• Troubleshoot and resolve post-launch issues.
• Maintain knowledge of design trends and best practices.
• Turn around revisions quickly in a fast-paced environment.
