Kajae Inc. is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to produce engaging social media, employer branding, and marketing videos that bring our people, culture, and mission to life.

You will transform raw footage into polished videos that feel human, engaging, and memorable, while supporting broader marketing initiatives with short-form content. You will manage multiple assignments, deliver 5–10+ edits weekly, and maintain brand consistency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably focused on social media, digital marketing, or branded content.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality short-form social media videos, including Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, or similar formats.
• Advanced proficiency with at least one professional video editing platform (Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve).
• Strong storytelling skills with the ability to transform raw footage into engaging, emotionally compelling videos.
• Deep understanding of short-form video best practices (hooks, pacing, captions, transitions, audience retention).
• Experience editing videos for social media platforms and adapting content to different formats and audiences.
• Independent footage selection, narrative structuring, and creative editing decisions.
• Strong visual judgment with composition, timing, audio, typography, and overall video quality.
• Ability to produce approximately 5–10+ short-form edits per week.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; capacity to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate with marketing stakeholders, incorporate feedback, and maintain brand consistency.
• Proactive and creative mindset with the ability to contribute new ideas beyond following editing instructions.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to polished content.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Availability to maintain regular working-hour overlap with U.S. Mountain Time.

Responsibilities

• Edit engaging culture and employer branding videos for Kajae's social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube).
• Transform raw footage from events, celebrations, remote meetings, and company activities into compelling short-form content.
• Create employee spotlights, day-in-the-life videos, behind-the-scenes content, and storytelling pieces highlighting Kajae's people and culture.
• Source, select, and edit stock footage to support social media content production.
• Produce high-quality Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other vertical videos optimized for engagement.
• Edit short-form videos with hooks, pacing, captions, transitions, and platform-appropriate formatting.
• Repurpose webinars, interviews, podcasts, and long-form content into multiple short clips.
• Create LinkedIn-native video content for a large follower base.
• Edit client testimonials, success stories, and case study videos communicating value and impact.
• Support webinar promotions, event recaps, campaigns, and paid advertising creative.
• Contribute to YouTube channel growth through consistent video editing.
• Incorporate music, SFX, graphics, subtitles to strengthen storytelling.
• Maintain consistent branding across all video content.
• Collaborate with marketing to execute weekly content calendar and meet deadlines.
• Proactively suggest creative concepts and trends.
• Manage multiple editing assignments simultaneously and maintain schedule.
• Deliver ~5–10+ short-form edits per week.
• Incorporate feedback to improve quality and effectiveness.
