Sokoni Kwetu Limited seeks a skilled Video Editor with strong motion graphics to support an Australian client's content production from the Philippines. You will handle end-to-end editing of social media content and dedicated motion graphics work for fast-paced and polished outputs.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, rigorous attention to branding, timing and pacing, and the ability to meet tight deadlines as an independent contractor.

Qualifications

• Strong motion graphics ability using After Effects or equivalent professional software.
• Proven experience editing video for social media, including reels and shorts.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro or an equivalent.
• Strong understanding of platform-specific requirements: aspect ratios, captions, hooks and pacing.

Responsibilities

• Create branded motion graphics, animated titles, lower thirds, transitions and other visual assets for social and digital content.
• Edit long-form video content into engaging short-form assets for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn.
• Repurpose existing footage into multiple platform-specific edits and formats.
• Maintain consistent branding, visual style and production quality across all video and motion content.
• Work with Design, Video and Marketing teams on creative direction, revisions and feedback.
• Manage a steady volume of projects and priorities according to deadlines.
