Job summary

Virtual Champion in the Philippines-based team is seeking a mid-level Video Editor to produce high-quality content for product development, internal marketing, and client projects. You’ll own video projects from raw footage to polished outputs with minimal supervision.

Work is remote, collaborating with a distributed team; you’ll edit client projects, repurpose long-form content into short clips, apply motion graphics, and ensure on-brand delivery across platforms.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on video editing experience.
• Proficiency in Canva, CapCut and Adobe video tools.
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, color correction, and audio mixing.
• Familiarity with short-form formats and platform requirements.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Comfortable working in Philippine Time (PHT) and coordinating asynchronously with a distributed team.
• Portfolio or samples of previous video editing work required.

Responsibilities

• Edit and produce video content that supports product launches, feature walkthroughs, and demo materials.
• Create engaging video content for internal campaigns, team communications, and company-wide announcements.
• Ensure all videos are visually consistent, on-brand, and optimized for their intended platform.
• Edit video content for client projects, ensuring quality and consistency across deliverables.
• Repurpose long-form content into short-form clips for social distribution.
• Manage video assets, organize project files, and maintain a clean production workflow.
• Apply motion graphics, transitions, color grading, text overlays, and sound design as needed.
• Add captions/subtitles and design thumbnails where required.
• Source or organize supporting assets such as stock footage, music, and sound effects.
• Deliver final outputs in the correct formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios for each platform or use case.
• Manage multiple video projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
