Pear Tree. is seeking an experienced remote Video Editor to transform raw healthcare footage into engaging digital content. You will cut 90‑minute recordings into short social content, educational clips, and VSLs, following clinical approval processes before publishing.

You will handle long‑form and VSL edits, apply colour correction, audio enhancement, captions, and branded elements while ensuring consistency and compliance across formats.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional video editing or post‑production experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating long‑form and short‑form editing capability.
• Strong understanding of hooks, pacing, storytelling, and audience retention.
• Experience editing for Instagram Reels and TikTok; ability to produce VSLs for landing pages.
• Strong audio cleanup, colour correction, captioning, and export skills.
• Ability to edit medical or technical content accurately within compliance frameworks.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong written and spoken English, and ability to manage multiple remote projects.
• Hardware capable of efficiently processing and exporting high‑resolution video.

Responsabilités

• Edit long‑form recordings into short‑form videos for social platforms with strong hooks and vertical framing.
• Create alternative hooks and edits for content testing while preserving medical meaning.
• Edit raw consultations, procedures, and educational content into structured videos and VSLs.
• Apply colour correction, audio enhancement, and add intros, CTAs, and branding elements.
• Add captions, branded lower thirds, callouts, and maintain visual consistency.
• Maintain reusable templates and ensure accurate clinical terminology across content.
• Follow internal approval processes; escalate potentially non‑compliant content promptly.
• Review performance data to improve future edits and support creative testing.
