Utility Profit, a growing prop-tech company, is seeking a remote Data Entry Specialist to review large address data and accurately map utilities (internet, electricity, water, gas, trash). You will enter provider details into a secure database, verify accuracy, and research providers when needed.

Qualifications

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry tasks.
• Fast and accurate typing skills, with experience in using data entry software or systems.
• Ability to conduct online research to verify information about utility providers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and familiarity with databases.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication for reporting and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Review and process thousands of addresses to identify corresponding utility providers.
• Accurately enter utility provider information into a designated database.
• Verify the accuracy of data entered and correct discrepancies.
• Conduct online research to confirm provider information when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure data consistency and integrity.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
• Generate and update reports as required.
• Willingness to make phone calls to providers to ensure accuracy for provider.
