Job summary

Kinguin in the Philippines is seeking a QA Engineer to perform manual and automated testing, focusing on payments and tax/fee logic, and to design regression coverage. You will work with developers across the delivery cycle and extend the automated suite.

You will report defects in Jira, explore AI-oriented testing approaches using CLI, and benefit from remote work with flexible hours and support tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in software testing/QA with manual and automated testing.
• Understanding of test design and regression testing principles.
• Experience creating/maintaining automated tests and expanding automation.
• Ability to understand requirements and identify edge cases.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience working with developers and technical stakeholders.
• Interest in AI testing and using CLI for testing processes.
• Good English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated testing of assigned product areas, especially payments and tax/fee logic.
• Design, execute, and maintain test cases and regression coverage.
• Report, track, and verify defects in Jira, including defect triage.
• Maintain and extend the automated test suite to improve coverage and efficiency.
• Collaborate with developers throughout the delivery cycle from planning to release.
• Identify risks and edge cases to ensure a reliable product.
• Explore AI-oriented testing approaches using CLI.
