Job summary

MicroSourcing is hiring a Software Developer in Test for a fully remote role in the Philippines. You will design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for web and backend applications, collaborating with developers and product teams to set test strategies and acceptance criteria.

You'll integrate tests into CI/CD, execute functional and performance testing, and drive defect tracking and root-cause analysis in a fast-paced, inclusive environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in software testing and automation
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts for web and backend applications
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality validation
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis
