Ultim8 Outsource Solutions Corporation seeks an experienced CAD/BIM Draftsman to support Australian telecommunications and infrastructure projects remotely from Manila. The candidate will handle AutoCAD, Revit and BIM tasks to meet Telstra standards and client requirements.

The role covers creating and updating detailed drawings, site layouts and schematics, with emphasis on accuracy and adherence to AS/NZS 1100. This is a remote role serving Telstra project needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience as a CAD Draftsman / Drafting Technician, preferably within telecommunications, engineering or infrastructure.
• Advanced AutoCAD skills.
• Practical Revit and BIM experience.
• Strong understanding of Australian drafting standards, particularly the AS/NZS 1100 series.
• Experience producing technical drawings to Australian project standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering, architectural and telecommunications documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience working with drawing revisions, mark-ups and as-built documentation.
• Ability to work independently with project information supplied by the client.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, modify and update detailed telecommunications and infrastructure drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.

• Interpret engineering, architectural, telecommunications and construction drawings.
• Review existing drawings and incorporate project changes accurately.
• Produce drawings for concept, detailed design, construction and as-built stages.
• Work with project information, mark-ups, sketches and design documentation provided by the client.
• Maintain drawing accuracy, consistency and document control throughout the project.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers and project managers to resolve drafting issues.
• Ensure drawings are prepared to the required Australian standards and project specifications.

Telecommunications CAD/BIM Draftsman - Telstra Projects

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced CAD/BIM Draftsman to support Australian telecommunications and infrastructure projects on a remote basis.

The ideal candidate will have strong AutoCAD, Revit and BIM experience, with telecommunications drafting experience highly preferred. Experience working with Telstra Mobile drafting standards, IBC/DAS projects, RF schematics and telecommunications infrastructure will be highly regarded.

The role will support the preparation, modification and updating of detailed technical drawings in accordance with Australian drafting practices and project-specific requirements.

• Experience with telecommunications equipment layouts, RF schematics, antenna layouts and cable/feeder documentation.
• Familiarity with Telstra CAD Standards Manual 017866a06 and CAD Drawing Matrix 017866a03.
• Experience with Telstra drawing templates, CADlink or similar document-control systems.
• Experience working with Australian telecommunications contractors such as Ventia or similar organisations.

Telstra's standards cover specific drawing types including site layouts, elevations, equipment layouts, RF connection schematics, IBC schematics, antenna layouts and iBwave-related documentation.
