Position Digital is a remote-friendly agency specializing in Technical SEO, GEO and web development for B2B and SaaS clients. The role focuses on turning audits into fixes directly in code, improving AI readability, and ensuring analytics accuracy across GA4 and GTM.

You’ll work with a small team, handling client projects and launches with a strong emphasis on collaboration and precise execution. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in technical SEO or web development, with solid knowledge of HTML,

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in technical SEO, web development or both.
• Solid understanding of crawling, indexing, canonicals, redirects, sitemaps and site architecture.
• Confident with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and able to work directly in code.
• Experience using Git and GitHub, including branches, commits and pull requests.
• Available from 9am to 12pm UK time, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Report into the Technical SEO Specialist and collaborate with SEO, content and outreach teams.
• Implement fixes from audits: canonicals, redirects, crawl/indexing issues, sitemaps and internal links.
• Improve page speed and Core Web Vitals across client websites.
• Write, test and validate structured data (JSON-LD) by hand.
• Make client sites ready for AI search and AI agents, including llms.txt access.
• Set up and audit GA4, GTM and Consent Mode, including cookie consent.
• Document tracking and website changes for clear data explanations.
• Run audits using in-house AI workflows with Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, PageSpeed.
• Use Claude-based tools in VS Code and GitHub; contribute to Claude workflows.
• Build and check landing pages with the content team before go-live.
• Support launches and migrations, including redirects and pre-launch checks.
• Write developer briefs for client development teams.
