Escape Velocity Entertainment Inc is seeking a Tech Designer to join our fully remote team. The role focuses on implementing and maintaining the technical framework for gameplay systems, acting as a bridge between technical and creative teams to enable robust, reusable content.

You will collaborate across disciplines, uphold production pipelines, and ensure access to the best tools and practices. The position emphasizes autonomy and strong problem-solving in a collaborative studio culture.

Qualifications

• Experience bridging technical and creative teams.
• Strong scripting skills in visual and text-based languages.
• Ability to analyze others' work and provide constructive feedback.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with disciplines to realize the shared vision for the game.
• Champion and uphold technical workflows and production pipelines.
• Act as a technical expert to ensure high-quality tools, documents, and best practices.
• Obtain in-depth knowledge of the engine, its capabilities, and auxiliary development tools.
• Uphold good system architecture across the department for reuse and optimization.
• Be an advocate for the technical design team in inter-departmental interactions.
