Job summary

VA Masters in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead our recruitment processes and support growth in a fast-paced startup environment. The ideal candidate will bring leadership, exceptional interviewing, and the ability to adapt to new technologies, including AI, to improve our hiring strategies.

You will work across departments, partner with clients, and manage high-volume roles, while mentoring junior recruiters and delivering timely, quality hires.

Qualifications

• Strong grasp of the full recruitment lifecycle.
• Recent remote work experience (not only during COVID) is a must!
• Proven ability to lead and work in a team-oriented environment, with strong leadership and mentorship skills.
• Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-style environment with shifting priorities.
• Availability to work late hours or weekends if needed - a MUST.
• Experience with AI-powered recruitment tools and the ability to put them to work streamlining processes.
• Comfortable holding frequent meetings and engaging with a variety of people.
• Being a 'people person' is key.
• Strong communication skills and experience working directly with clients in an account management capacity.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple positions at once.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on results.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage recruitment efforts for multiple roles across different departments, including high-volume positions, while keeping a busy schedule.
• Build and run effective sourcing strategies to attract top talent, drawing on AI tools and other innovative platforms.
• Run structured interviews and assessments to weigh candidates' qualifications, cultural fit, and skills.
• Work closely with department heads to understand hiring needs and put together job descriptions and candidate profiles.
• Act as an account manager, keeping strong communication with clients to understand their specific recruitment needs and make sure we meet their expectations.
• Operate in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment, keeping hiring processes timely and efficient.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, giving them a positive experience throughout the recruitment journey.
• Dig into recruitment data to fine-tune hiring processes, raise candidate quality, and drive efficiency.
• Keep up with recruitment trends, including AI tools, and continuously improve processes.
• Give leadership and guidance to junior recruiters, supporting team growth and skill development.
• Take part in frequent meetings, both internally and with candidates, keeping communication clear and relationships strong.
