Job summary

Staff X - Offshore Staffing seeks a Structural Drafter to prepare and modify drawings for concrete, steel, timber, and masonry. You will interpret plans, ensure compliance with Australian codes, and coordinate with engineers and architects from your remote home office.

You will maintain project documentation, support clash detection, and contribute to QA/QC while working with international clients in Australia, the US, and the UK. A Diploma/Certificate in Drafting is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Structural Drafter in construction or engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (or other structural drafting software).
• Strong understanding of Australian building codes and structural drafting standards.
• Ability to interpret and translate engineering calculations into working drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify structural drawings for concrete, steel, timber, and masonry.
• Interpret plans to produce detailed structural documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and drafters to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in clash detection and resolution between drawings.
• Maintain project documentation through design and construction lifecycle.
• Contribute to quality control and drawing reviews.
