Job summary

Anypear is seeking a detail-oriented Civil Design Engineer (Revit) for a fully remote role supporting an Australian NPI client. You will translate concepts into precise steel and concrete models using Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks, and produce 2D drawings and site masterplans.

Strong drafting, design translation, and QA skills are required, along with experience in Navisworks and Australian Standards. Excellent English communication and independent problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Engineering Drafting, or related field.
2+ years experience in drafting or engineering role, preferably within mining/heavy industry or NPI.
Advanced skills in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and Revit.
Practical experience using Navisworks for viewing, clash detection, and model federation.
Excellent technical writing skills for tender documents and engineering reports.
Eager to learn, motivated and open to tackling new challenges.
Ability to work independently and take initiative with problem-solving.
Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
Excellent English writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed 3D structural models for steel and concrete in Revit.
Translate hand drawings and markups into 3D models and 2D drawings.
Perform clash detection and coordinate models in Navisworks.
QA on models and drawings to meet standards and AS compliance.
Produce 2D drawings and layout/site masterplans using AutoCAD.
Provide high-level engineering admin support using Excel and Word.
Maintain records in the document control system and formatting in Word/Excel.
