Job summary

Sezzle is seeking a Solutions Engineer to own merchant integrations from pre-sales through live rollout. You will collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to scope needs and design tailored, hand-built integrations across web, mobile, and in-store channels.

You will lead demos, respond to RFPs, and ensure smooth deployments for enterprise merchants while communicating complex tech in clear business terms.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing technical roles within fintech or payments.
• Ability to design integration solutions across APIs and SDKs.
• Proven track record delivering technical proposals and RFP responses.
• Strong communication skills for diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own technical discovery for prospective merchants and map to Sezzle integrations.
• Lead product demos and technical presentations for stakeholders.
• Design integration solutions across API, SDKs, and platform plugins.
• Write technical proposals and complete RFP responses.
• Support merchant mobile app integrations: SDKs and in-app checkout.
• Validate integrations in sandbox and production prior to launch.
• Troubleshoot live integrations with Support and Engineering.
• Translate merchant needs into product feedback to unblock revenue.
• Build and maintain integration docs and runbooks.
• Act as trusted technical advisor post-launch for optimization.
