Job summary

Tyk is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to manage, maintain and improve our cloud platform. You will be the first line of incident management for clients and help define our reliability metrics and response strategies.

As a remote-first company, you will join a global distributed team, shaping the platform across regions and clouds while expanding knowledge and automation. Strong Kubernetes/AWS/Linux/IaC skills are essential, with Go a plus.

Qualifications

• Maintain global Tyk Cloud within SLAs you help define.
• Identify reliability issues and work with squad to solve them.
• Introduce new metrics and dashboards for platform health.
• Participate in the on-call rotation.
• Expand multi-region and multi-cloud reach of the platform.
• Document operational knowledge and runbooks.
• Conduct post-incident analyses and learnings.
• Automate common operational tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the Tyk Cloud platform across regions and clouds.
• Collaborate with squads to detect and fix reliability issues.
• Develop metrics, dashboards and alerts for incident visibility.
• Engage in on-call rotations and post-incident reviews.
