Job summary

D2B is seeking an SEO Specialist to join our remote team. You will develop and execute strategies to boost organic visibility, drive qualified traffic, and generate leads through on-page, off-page, and technical SEO initiatives.

Experience with NZ/AU markets and strong analytics are highly valued. Responsibilities include keyword research, content optimization, technical audits, and collaboration with content and marketing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
• 1–3 years of proven SEO experience in similar roles.
• Experience handling NZ or AU digital marketing accounts or clients.
• Strong on-page, off-page, and technical SEO knowledge.
• Proficiency with SEO tools: GA, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs or equivalents.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic web concepts is a bonus.
• Strong analytic skills to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work remotely.
• Portfolio demonstrating SEO work is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve rankings and visibility.
• Conduct keyword research to identify high-impact opportunities.
• Optimize content, landing pages and blog posts with on-page SEO best practices.
• Perform technical SEO audits and coordinate with developers to fix crawl and indexing issues.
• Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Track and report key SEO metrics, including traffic and conversions.
• Execute ethical link-building to strengthen domain authority.
• Conduct competitor analysis to identify trends and gaps.
• Stay updated with search engine updates and best practices.
• Collaborate with content, design, and marketing teams to integrate SEO across initiatives.
