Job summary

BruntWork is seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to lead the buildout and optimization of our company blog. You will own keyword research, content planning, and on-page SEO to improve organic visibility and drive relevant traffic.

This remote, part-time role focuses on 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with flexible CST-aligned hours. You will structure the blog, establish internal linking, and ensure SEO best practices across WordPress or similar CMS.

Qualifications

Proven experience in SEO, particularly blog SEO and content optimization.
Strong understanding of keyword research, search intent, and content strategy.
Experience building or restructuring blogs for SEO.
Knowledge of on-page SEO, internal linking, metadata, and content hierarchy.
Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or similar platforms.
Experience working with website platforms or CMS tools such as WordPress, Webflow, or similar.
Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently, manage project deliverables, and meet agreed deadlines.

Responsibilities

SEO Research and Strategy: conduct keyword research and analyze topics to attract organic traffic.
Blog Buildout and Content Planning: organize blog structure and content clusters; plan topics and internal links.
On-Page SEO and Content Optimization: optimize titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, and image alt text.
SEO Implementation and Quality Assurance: format and optimize content within CMS; ensure proper metadata and SEO setup.
Reporting and Project Handover: track progress and document SEO structure and recommendations.
