X/O Digital, a Sydney-based digital marketing agency, is seeking a senior SEO professional to own backlink acquisition across client accounts. This remote, full-time role focuses on end-to-end link building, from prospecting and outreach to placement, tracking and reporting.

As the foundation of our SEO team, the position offers growth into department leadership as we scale. You will work across solar, renewable energy, manufacturing and professional services clients, building quality links

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on link building with SEO knowledge.
• Experience building backlinks for Australian websites.
• Proven track record of acquiring quality backlinks at scale.
• Established relationships with link vendors and guest post networks.

Responsibilities

• Own the backlink acquisition process across client accounts from strategy to placement.
• Build and manage citation profiles for local SEO clients.
• Run guest post campaigns: prospecting, vetting sites, placements, content requirements.
• Use link networks and vendors to procure quality links.
• Vet link opportunities for traffic, relevance, authority, spam signals.
• Develop repeatable workflows to scale with clients.
• Track and report on link acquisition and domain growth.
• Coordinate with content team on anchor text strategy and assets.
• Stay updated on Google algorithms and link schemes to avoid risk.
