Job summary

Tilt is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to join Cashalo, building core technology that powers millions of Filipinos’ access to credit. You’ll own backend features end-to-end, from design to deployment, and contribute to reliability on Azure in a remote, globally connected team.

This high-ownership IC role collaborates with product, credit, and engineering across APAC, with travel 2-4 times a year. Strong .NET/C# and SQL Server skills required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in .NET (C#) building production-grade backend systems.
• Strong experience with SQL Server—data modelling, queries and schema management.
• Experience building on a public cloud platform (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Solid fundamentals in designing and consuming REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain robust backend services and APIs using .NET (C#).
• Own features end-to-end—from requirements through deployment—collaborating with product and stakeholders.
• Improve platform reliability, observability, and deployment on Azure.
