Winning Assistants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Medical Billing Specialist (Primary Care) to oversee U.S. medical billing operations and lead a small billing team.

This remote role requires strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, E/M guidelines, and payer requirements, with a focus on accuracy, timely filing, and compliant documentation across diverse primary care providers. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on U.S. medical billing experience and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on U.S. medical billing experience.
• Extensive U.S. primary care billing knowledge.
• Experience leading or supervising a medical billing team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, submit, and track U.S. primary care claims.
• Identify and resolve billing errors and documentation gaps.
• Lead a team of billing associates with coaching and SOP updates.
• Monitor AR, denials, and follow-ups to optimize reimbursement.
• Ensure compliance with payer requirements and HIPAA.
