Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including reconciliations, month-end close, general ledger, and accounts payable.
• Experience with US-based companies; healthcare or multi-site service orgs a plus.
• Working knowledge of GAAP, payroll administration, and internal controls.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks or Sage; advanced Excel skills.

Aufgaben

• Own monthly reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts across locations.
• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and maintain accurate accounting records in QuickBooks (and similar systems).
• Manage end-to-end accounts payable: code/vendor invoices and approvals.
• Maintain vendor records, W-9s, and respond to vendor inquiries.
• Reconcile vendor balances and statements to AP subledger; resolve discrepancies.
• Support Controller in daily accounting operations including GL and AP activities.
• Lead monthly financial close: journal entries, reconciliations, close checklists.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and schedules.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and financial data.
• Assist in developing financial reports, dashboards, and KPI reports.
• Assist with payroll processing and payroll tax compliance with HR.
• Support preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
