Job summary

Safeguard Global is a global remote-first company seeking a Salesforce Release Manager to own cross-team deployment governance and DevOps pipeline ownership. You will coordinate deployments across SalesOps, Service Cloud, and Engineering IT, develop sandbox strategies, refine workflows, and ensure rigorous change logs, testing, and training materials before go-live.

The role combines governance with hands-on DevOps, requiring strong written communication and the ability to lead multi-team

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Release Manager, DevOps Engineer, or Salesforce Release Engineer roles, with at least 2 years in Salesforce.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce DevOps tools (Gearset, Flosum, Copado, AutoRABIT).
• Working knowledge of Salesforce DX (SFDX), Git-based version control, and metadata deployment patterns.
• Experience coordinating deployments across multi-team orgs and governance processes from ground up.
• Strong written communication for stakeholder sign-offs and cross-team updates.

Responsibilities

• Own and run cross-team deployment calendar across SalesOps, Service Cloud, and Engineering IT deploys.
• Enforce deployment protocols and sign-off gates for shared entity changes.
• Maintain change logs for shared entity touching changes.
• Serve as escalation point for deployment break-fix issues and coordinate post-deployment validation.
• Own governance workstreams including RACI, sandbox coordination policy, and deployment notification protocol.
• Identify gaps, propose new workflows, and present recommendations to Salesforce committee.
• Own DevOps tool evaluation, trials, and administration of chosen tool (Gearset/Flosum).
• Maintain CI/CD pipeline configuration, sandbox refresh strategy, and source-of-truth version control.
