Job summary

Safeguard Global is seeking a Salesforce Release Manager in Mexico (remote) to own cross‑team deployment governance and DevOps pipeline ownership across SalesOps, Service Cloud, and Engineering IT. You will establish sandbox strategies, define governance workflows, and manage CI/CD tooling (Gearset/Flosum/Copado/AutoRABIT) while coordinating with multiple teams to ensure reliable releases.

Responsibilities include post‑deployment validation, governance maturation, and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a Release Manager, DevOps Engineer, or Salesforce Release Engineer role, with at least 2 years in Salesforce.
• Hands‑on experience with Salesforce DevOps tools (Gearset, Flosum, Copado, or AutoRABIT).
• Working knowledge of Salesforce DX (SFDX), Git‑based version control, and metadata deployment patterns.
• Experience managing sandbox strategy (refresh scheduling, seed data, integration dependencies) in a multi‑team Salesforce org.
• Strong cross‑team coordination and ability to establish governance processes from scratch.
• Proven ability to document deployment processes in Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Own and run cross‑team deployment calendar across SalesOps, Service Cloud, and Engineering IT deploys.
• Enforce deployment protocols, notification requirements, and sign‑off gates for shared changes.
• Maintain change logs for shared entity changes and serve as escalation point for deployment issues.
• Coordinate post‑deployment validation and smoke testing across teams.
• Design and implement sandbox coordination policy and deployment notification protocols from scratch.
• Own DevOps tool evaluation, trials, and administration of Gearset or Flosum; manage CI/CD for Salesforce metadata.
• Maintain source‑of‑truth version control practices and track deployment health across environments.
• Provide governance KPI reporting and keep Jira/Confluence documentation up to date.
