Xideral is seeking an experienced RPG Operations / RPG Developer to join our remote team. The role focuses on development, maintenance, and production support for IBM i (AS/400) environments, requiring RPG programming, DB2/400 and SQL for iSeries.

Key duties include building and maintaining RPG/400, RPGLE, and Free-Format RPG apps, working with DB2 for i, providing incident resolution and production support, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

3+ years of professional RPG programming experience.
Hands-on experience with IBM i / AS/400 and RPG/400, RPGLE, Free-Format RPG.
Strong knowledge of DB2 for i and SQL for iSeries; experience in application development.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and support applications on the IBM i (AS/400) platform.
Perform programming and maintenance using RPG/400, RPGLE, and Free-Format RPG.
Work with DB2 for i and SQL for iSeries; support database design and troubleshooting.
Provide production support and resolve incidents; monitor tasks and priorities.
