Job summary

AbroadWorks Inc. is hiring a Risk Adjustment Coder to support healthcare operations and risk adjustment programs. The role focuses on coordinating daily workflows, tracking chart reviews and coding activities, and ensuring timely provider outreach and documentation updates.

The ideal candidate will have experience with EHR/EMR systems, HIPAA compliance, and strong communication skills. This is a fully remote role with an international client base and requires reliable internet.

Qualifications

  • We require an Associate degree or equivalent experience in healthcare related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years in healthcare operations, care coordination, or risk adjustment.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR/EMR) is essential.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily risk adjustment workflows and project activities.
  • Track completion of chart reviews, CDI reviews, provider feedback, and coding activities.
  • Maintain work queues and task assignments for coding and clinical review teams.
  • Monitor project timelines and follow up on outstanding deliverables.
  • Schedule risk adjustment meetings and maintain documentation and action items.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for leadership review.
