Atlassian is seeking a Revenue Accountant to manage day-to-day revenue accounting, apply ASC 606 to contracts, and support close processes. You will reconcile subledgers, prepare supporting analyses, and contribute to process improvements across Billing, FP&A, Tax, Legal, and systems teams.

A bachelor's in accounting and 2–3 years of relevant experience are required. The role offers exposure to SOX controls, external reporting, and collaboration on new product launches, with potential bonuses

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• 2–3 years of experience in revenue accounting, technical accounting, or external audit.
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Perform day-to-day revenue accounting and month-end close tasks.
• Apply ASC 606 to contracts and identify complex arrangements for review.
• Prepare accounting memos and supporting analyses for new products and pricing changes.
• Reconcile revenue subledger data with general ledger and investigate discrepancies.
• Execute SOX controls over revenue and suggest improvements.
• Prepare quarterly and annual revenue disclosures and SEC schedules.
• Translate business needs into system requirements and support UAT for revenue systems.
• Lead small projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams on close improvements.
• Partner with Billing, Deal Desk, FP&A, Tax, Legal, and IT on revenue matters.
• Assist audits by providing clear processes and evidence.
