Job summary

ELVTR is seeking a Lead Retention Specialist for a full-time remote role (EST 9AM-6PM). You will own the retention process, craft strategies to minimize refunds, and drive revenue recovery while maintaining exceptional learner experiences.

Qualifications

3+ years in Sales Retention, Customer Retention, or related fields, ideally senior/lead.
Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken.
Proven experience supporting US-market customers.
Strong negotiation and objection-handling with track record of reducing refunds.

Responsibilities

Own the customer retention process, managing refunds while maximizing retained revenue and delivering a positive experience.
Negotiate alternatives to refunds (credits, payment plans, transfers, etc.).
Recover overdue installments by engaging customers and resolving billing issues.
Collaborate with Billing to reduce defaults, chargebacks, and balances.
Analyze refund triggers and payment failures to provide actionable insights.
