Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Release Engineer to own the software release process, delivering through automated and reliable deployment pipelines while balancing speed with stability. You will orchestrate release cadences across cross-functional teams, implement feature flags, and maintain versioning practices to ensure quality and traceability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Release Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure.
• Proven expertise in owning and optimizing the end-to-end release process and deployment pipelines.
• Proficiency in managing rollback strategies and implementing feature flags to ensure system stability.
• Hands-on experience defining and managing release cadences for large-scale engineering organizations.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD best practices and automated software delivery workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage automated deployment pipelines and rollback strategies to ensure consistent software delivery.
• Coordinate release cadences and schedules across cross-functional engineering teams to manage dependencies and minimize production risks.
• Oversee the implementation and management of feature flags to enable controlled releases and rapid experimentation.
• Develop and maintain version control best practices and branching strategies to ensure code integrity across environments.
• Monitor release metrics and optimize processes to improve deployment efficiency, reliability, and mean time to recovery.
• Collaborate with developers and operations to define release standards and maintain comprehensive documentation for complex delivery workflows.
