Job summary

Med-Metrix in the Philippines is seeking a Quality Analyst, Inpatient Coding to enhance documentation, coding accuracy, and compliance across accounts.

You will design and implement quality review programs for CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS coding, review coder performance, and report findings to coding leadership. This role requires HIPAA knowledge and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of medical or allied medical field or equivalent experience.
• Hold AAPC and/or AHIMA certification; CPMA is an advantage.
• At least 3 years of IP DRG Coding.
• Proficient with E/M and CPT coding.
• HIPAA knowledge required.
• Strong verbal and written communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to changing responsibilities and schedules.
• Willingness to work extended hours.
• Assertive self-starter who can work independently, yet function in a team.
• Ability to plan and prioritize under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Set team direction and guide team members.

• Daily management of operational processes to meet quality and productivity targets.
• Act as client contact for day-to-day issues and escalations.
• Review and analyze reports to meet client and company objectives.
