Job summary

HedgeServ Corporation is seeking a Python Developer to design, build, and support Python-based applications for internal and external clients. You will work with developers, QA, and operations to ensure a reliable, scalable pipeline and contribute to cross-team platform initiatives.

The role emphasizes clean coding, automated testing, and collaboration in a fast-paced, global environment. Knowledge of AWS services and RESTful APIs is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong Python development experience with OO design.
• Experience with version control and automated tests (TDD).
• Hands-on SQL and/or MongoDB experience.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of AWS services like SQS, S3, SNS.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable, and high-quality Python code.
• Collaborate with QA/BA to create automated tests and tooling.
• Partner with operations to keep apps reliable in production.
• Work across teams to understand needs and improve platforms.
