Job summary

Vector Outsourcing Solutions is seeking a Prior Authorization Specialist to support healthcare clients remotely from the Philippines. You will handle requests via the EHR Scheduling Module or phone/fax, review patient histories, and coordinate with insurers, physicians, and patients to ensure timely approvals.

This role requires 1+ year in Prior Authorization within a BPO healthcare setting, strong English communication, and the ability to work night shifts from a home office with a reliable

Qualifications

• Graduate with a Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Medical)
• Consultancy basis minimum of 6 months contract (renewal possible)
• At least 1 year of Prior Authorization experience in a BPO healthcare account is an advantage
• Must have excellent English communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks
• Willing to work in shifting schedules, mostly night shift
• Able to work from home with reliable internet connection

Responsibilities

• Receive requests for prior authorizations via the Scheduling Module of the EHR or through phone/fax and monitor closely
• Process referrals and submit medical records to insurance carriers to expedite prior authorizations
• Review patient medical history and insurance coverage for approval
• Manage correspondence with insurance companies, physicians, specialists, and patients, documenting in the EHR
• Assist with documentation to expedite approvals and ensure proper follow-up
• Review accuracy and completeness of information requested and ensure all supporting documents are present
• Follow team/client procedures, policies, and methodologies as instructed
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned
