Job summary

Del Playa Group is seeking a highly motivated U.S. Payroll Specialist with expertise in U.S. labor compliance and prevailing wage regulations. This role focuses on certified payroll reporting and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local wage laws with accuracy and timeliness.

The candidate will review weekly certified payroll, maintain fringe benefit tracking, and collaborate across compliance, project, and accounting teams to resolve payroll discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, law, or related field preferred.
• 5–10+ years’ experience with U.S. payroll, labor compliance and prevailing wage regulations.
• Ability to work in U.S. hours (Eastern / Pacific Time).

Responsibilities

• Review weekly certified payroll for employees on prevailing wage projects.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local prevailing wage laws.
• Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of fringe benefits to meet requirements.
• Collaborate with compliance managers, project managers, and accounting teams.
