Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or related field.
• Advanced Excel proficiency required; ability to develop financial templates.
• Experience preparing financial statements, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
• Solid understanding of cash vs. accrual accounting; interpret financial data and produce reports.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements using templates or by developing new ones.
• Build and maintain cash flow projections on a weekly or monthly basis.
• Support budget preparation and financial planning.
• Organize financial information for review and for sharing with the tax accountant.
• Refine and customize reporting templates to fit our needs.
• Work from existing accounting system data and chart of accounts; not day-to-day bookkeeping.
• Build processes, reports, and projections from the ground up with limited history.
