Job summary

MicroSourcing in Cebu City, Philippines seeks a Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust network infrastructure. The role includes monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high availability across LAN, WAN, and wireless segments.

You will configure routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers, and implement security measures aligned with organizational standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience in network engineering or infrastructure roles.
Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching).
Hands‑on experience with network devices (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar).
Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, wireless).
Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, ensure high availability and reliability.
Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
Implement security measures and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
Collaborate with IT teams to support system integrations and infrastructure projects.
