Job summary

MicroSourcing, based in the Philippines, is seeking a Senior .NET CMS Tech Lead to design, architect, and develop enterprise web applications using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams, and drive delivery from architecture to deployment in a remote, day-shift setup.

The role emphasizes leadership, software architecture expertise, and hands-on development of scalable and secure solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience developing applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, or .NET Core.
• Experience with an enterprise .NET CMS such as Sitecore, Kentico, or Optimizely.
• Proven experience leading development teams and mentoring software engineers.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, object-oriented design principles, and system design.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, architecture, and development of enterprise web applications using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core.
• Mentor and guide engineers through code reviews, technical coaching, and best engineering practices.
• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to define technical solutions and project requirements.
• Drive technical delivery from solution architecture and implementation through deployment and post-go-live support.
• Participate in technical discovery, solution design, project estimation, and pre-sales engagements.
• Ensure high-quality, scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
• Promote engineering excellence by improving development standards, processes, and coding practices.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend innovative solutions that support business objectives.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide guidance on system architecture and application performance.

Your Role

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• At least 7 years of experience developing applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, or .NET Core.
• Experience with an enterprise .NET CMS such as Sitecore, Kentico, or Optimizely
• Proven experience leading development teams and mentoring software engineers.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, object-oriented design principles, and system design.
• Experience building scalable web applications, RESTful APIs, and enterprise software solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with experience working directly with clients.
  
  

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and modern cloud-based application development.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Experience working in a digital agency or consulting environment.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks is an advantage.
