Job summary

CO Careers is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Clerk & Intake Specialist to join our remote team in the Philippines. You will contact doctors’ offices to obtain medical records, follow up on requests, and accurately enter data into our systems while handling patient intake and inquiries with professional communication.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and spoken English with clear communication.
• Must type at least 40 wpm and be highly detail-oriented.
• Experience with medical records or healthcare administration is preferred.
• Strong computer skills including email, spreadsheets, and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Contact doctors’ offices to request medical records and supporting documentation.
• Follow up persistently on outstanding records requests.
• Track and organize medical records requests for timely completion.
• Review incoming documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Handle incoming phone calls and assist patients and providers professionally.
• Conduct patient intake and verify required information in the system.
• Maintain organized electronic files and update records.
