Job summary

CACTUS Life Sciences is seeking a Content Manager to QC manuscripts, posters, and educational materials for accuracy and compliance. The role is based in India with a remote-first culture; you may travel to our Mumbai office as required.

The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines. A Master’s in Research or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the medical writing industry; freshers with substantial knowledge of the publication landscape or clinical research are also eligible
• Master’s degree in Research, or equivalent industry experience
• Ability to work efficiently and independently, multitask, and prioritize
• Excellent attention to detail and zero tolerance to errors
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Functional with MS Office
• Flexible and adaptable to changing project priorities and work assignments

Responsibilities

• Evaluate manuscripts, posters, slide decks, educational material, medical literature, etc., provided by clients for data accuracy
• Check documents developed by medical writers for scientific data errors by referencing annotated sources
• Check for discrepancies within text, figures/tables, and between text and supplementary material
• Identify missing sources and gaps in scientific logic
• Check grammar, syntax, style, and compliance with style guides/regulatory requirements
• Be responsible for the quality of documents/projects QCed
• Communicate QC findings with the client/medical writers
• Deliver QC reports to stakeholders and identify quality trends
• Ensure timely delivery of documents
• Communicate with team members, authors, clients, vendors
• Attend trainings to hone skills
