MicroSourcing is seeking a Medical Content Analyst to work from home in a night-shift role, focusing on Medicare/Medicaid and clinical coding criteria for automated claims editing.

The role requires a BS Nursing or BS Pharmacy and 4 years in medical billing or coding, with strong communication and proficiency in MS Office and coding standards. Healthcare from day one and performance bonuses are among the rewards.

Qualificações

• BS Nursing or Pharmacy degree required; US health payer experience in claims/denials is required.
• 4 years of medical billing/coding/claims processing experience; experience with US health payers is required.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) across internal/external stakeholders.
• Proficiency with software: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, Visio, JIRA, SharePoint; MS Project is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Research and identify Medicare, Medicaid, and other medical coding and billing documents to identify claim denial or covered criteria (clinical content) for automated claims editing.
• Present findings to Medical Director and clinical colleagues to obtain consensus on denial criteria.
• Provide clinical content support to customers as needed.
• Perform data entry of clinical content updates into database, as needed.
• Resolve interpretation issues of inpatient coding or ICD-10-CM conventions for Lyric business rules.
