Job summary

Med-Metrix is seeking a Content Development Specialist to design, develop, and maintain training curricula focused on medical coding. You will collaborate with Coding Operations, Quality, Compliance, and Training stakeholders to create engaging, accurate learning solutions that support onboarding, upskilling, and certification preparation.

The ideal candidate combines instructional design expertise with a strong understanding of medical coding principles and adult learning methodologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of curriculum design or training content development experience.
• Experience developing learning programs for healthcare or medical coding organizations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, HCPCS, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end medical coding curricula for training.
• Create structured learning paths for ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, HCPCS.
• Develop instructor-led training materials, e-learning modules, and assessments.
• Ensure content aligns with coding standards, regulatory guidelines, and client needs.
• Apply adult learning principles to maximize learner engagement and retention.
