Job summary

Emapta is seeking a seasoned Landscape Designer for permanent remote work, aligning Vectorworks-based plans with client goals for high-end residential projects. You’ll collaborate across sales and design teams, manage budgets, and ensure construction-ready documentation. The role offers night shifts aligned with U.S.

business hours, weekend off, and global exposure. Qualified candidates bring 3–5+ years, strong HubSpot usage, and proficiency in CAD tools.

Qualifications

3-5+ years of professional landscape design experience, with hands-on Vectorworks required.
Experience with DynaScape Design, Structure Studios, CAD-based design tools, or comparable 3D design software.
Strong knowledge of residential landscape design principles, processes, materials, and construction considerations.
Proficiency in HubSpot for tracking prospect and client activities.
Familiarity with LMN is an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to use LeanScaper, design-to-build documentation, and other approved systems.
Strong communication, interpersonal, relationship-building, and emotional intelligence skills.
Excellent organizational, time-management, goal-setting, and decision-making skills.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with sound judgment and stress management.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive residential landscape plans using Vectorworks aligned with client goals and budgets.
Integrate hardscapes, plantings, lighting, pools, and other outdoor elements.
Balance aesthetics with construction feasibility and client priorities while complying with regulations.
Collaborate with sales and clients to gather feedback and participate in presentations and meetings.
Establish client trust and maintain prospect activities and design decisions in HubSpot.
Prepare preliminary cost estimates and coordinate handoffs with operations using company forms.
Participate in weekly meetings and apply insights to improve design quality and client satisfaction.
Maintain complete handoffs, revisions, and evidence in HubSpot and project docs.
Communicate promptly, fulfill commitments, and support team with training.
